A friendly heads-up: Tech changes fast. We work hard to keep every step accurate, but your screen may not always match what you see here. Menus move, buttons get renamed, and updates change things. If something looks different, look for similar words or check the device maker's help page, and the steps should still get you there.

Why we made this

We've done tech work for a living for years, and we've been the family tech support just as long. We kept seeing good, smart people feel lost or rushed by their own devices. That isn't their fault. Most tech is explained badly.

We've also watched too many older folks get talked into plans, add-ons and "deals" they didn't need. We want to help people ask the right questions and feel confident pushing back.

So we wrote the guides we wished we could leave on the kitchen table: big print, plain words, one step at a time. They follow the same good habits the pros use, enterprise-grade practices, made simple.

Be your own support. We'll show you how.
